Meet Collette

Cooking for a living is Collette's dream come true! She has always had a knack for making delicious meals. Her late mother, Regina, taught her everything about cooking and navigating the kitchen. Collette and Regina's favorite part of being in the kitchen is watching others enjoy the recipes they created together. Now, as the candied fruit queen of her small town in Mandeville, Louisiana, Collette's Creations was born.

Videos circulate of people driving from all over to sample all of Collette's creations she has developed over the years. Social media has been Collette's passion since 2009 when Facebook started to gain popularity. Social media is Collette's true love, and marketing her food videos will keep you wanting more.

Collette is a single mother to her 6-year-old son, Deuce, and 18-year-old daughter, Lina. Being a mother has been the most rewarding gift of Collette's life. Collette comes from a past where she didn't see a way out. However, she has completely turned her life around for the better and will forever strive for greatness through her love of cooking.

Collette has perfected the technique of candied dip fruits. Everything is dippable, and any color or candy combo is possible at Collette's Creations! Her creativity has also led to her infamous homemade seafood and Hot Cheeto boudin balls, and chicken and sausage gumbo.

 

Every order is handmade and bears Collette's personal touch, down to her mother's homemade remoulade.
